I consider it is a tie in between Tom Cruise as well as Brad Pitt for a most appropriate as well as which leaves Will Smith out of competition since Will Smith doesnt have good film jot down similar to Brad as well as Tom what do we contend TOM or BRAD

I say Will Smith is the biggest because the movies he’s done have grossed more worldwide and have been bigger than those that Tom or Brad have done. Independence Day, Hancock, Men in Black, I am Legend etc. all appear on the Top 100 gross movie list worldwide. So bigger definitely Will Smith. Brad and Tom are more celebrities and bigger than Will Smith in that aspect. They get more attention for their relationships, humanitarian work etc.

What, I will say Will Smith, hands down. Especially in the last few years he has made some great movies, The Pursuit of Happyness and Seven Pounds.

Will Smith has better box office numbers, but he can’t act. He only plays Will Smith. Tom Cruise is only good in a few of his movies, but is often over-the-top and annoying in most of his films. That means I choose Brad Pitt, he is underrated because of his celeb status, but he can act. He had a great little role in Thelma & Louise, he was great in Fight Club, Legends Of The Fall, Seven. He was nominated for an Oscar for Benjamin Button and he looks great in the upcoming Inglourious Basterds.

I actually think Brad Pitt is a very underrated actor, Will Smith either plays the same serious character in dramatic movies or the same comedic role in comedy films. But I would say because of his history on TV, Music and Film, he is probably better known worldwide.
Tom Cruise plays the same annoying character in EVERY film….aside from Tropic Thunder, he was good in that.http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3314825

There is a difference between “biggest” and “best.”
“Biggest” has to be Will Smith. You attach his name to a movie, and it’s going to be a hit. Along with Johnny Depp, he’s just one of the most popular celebrities in the world. Neither can do any cinematic wrong.
“Best” would have to be Brad Pitt. He takes a variety of roles, and he seems to do well in most of them. I know he first came onto the scene in “Thelma & Louise” because he was hot, but he certainly deserved all of the praise he got for films like “12 Monkeys” and even “Fight Club.” He’s the strongest actor of the three.
Tom Cruise lost his momentum awhile back, long before he started jumping on couches. Has he made ANYTHING of note since “Jerry Maguire?” And he kind of plays the same arrogant character in every film. Not the biggest or the best as far as I’m concerned.

I have to disagree on your comment on Will Smith not having a good movie record, I personally have a lot more of Will Smith’s movie in my collection than Brad & Tom combined,sure Tom has made more movies but he’s been around 10 years longer & Brad has been 5 years longer. I certainly like Will smith better & I think he is the best of the three.

I can’t stand Tom Cruise. His acting is – well he plays the same character and has done for like the last 25 years so boring and not indicative of someone who can act.
The other two are pretty even.
Brad Pitt has a pretty wide following, yes I am aware there are people who dislike him, but he’s far more popular than Tom Cruise who has a “freaky” tag especially the last few years.
Will Smith has a wide following too.
Brad though, at this stage, has far more on his resume than Will, but Will is certainly getting there.

Will Smith, i am not big on Brad Pitt movies, always been rather bored watching his movie and as for Tom Cruise he hasnt done anything in years that impressed me. I gave up on watching the Mission Impossible movies. I like Tom earlier movies but after i saw Mission Impossible 2 and a few other movies, i lost interest in watching his movies.

It’s gotta be Tom Cruise. He may be a crazy, couch jumping, scientology nut but he has the most consistently entertaining career as far as I’m concerned.
